Florida State for St. Jude

In early February, the Alpha Omega chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha at Florida State University, hosted ESA day with University of Florida and University of West Florida. These chapters came together for a day of crafting and service to make gifts for children at St. Jude! Crafting face masks, letters, hearts, and other fun items, ESA members across the state got to know each other over pizza and service!

The dedication shown by our Florida ESA chapters is incredible! The crafts all went to the patients at St. Jude – from ESA with love! The love continued to spread as they made and sent a banner to the hospital and went out to dinner at a restaurant that donated a percentage of that night’s revenue to St. Jude!

Florida State University is a relatively young chapter that has grown to make a difference. The chapter was introduced to campus in 2012 and since has grown to 50 members and contributed to the research efforts of St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the local efforts in the Tallahassee community. The chapter works with volunteer organizations such as The Salvation Army and The Big Bend Homeless Coalition, as well as other on- campus philanthropies!
