Oklahoma State Council Fundraiser

Long-time ESA supporter, E.H. McEachern, has agreed to donate all 2013 third quarter royalties from the sale of her new book, Missing Emma, A Jenny Tallchief Novel, to the Oklahoma State Council of ESA.  “This is really a win-win for ESA and me,” said McEachern.  “Hopefully, the books will reach a wider audience; and, of course, the profits will go to one of my favorite organizations for the exceptional work they do.”
Jenny Tallchief novels are crime thrillers with a touch of the paranormal.  The stories are set in rural Oklahoma and reflect a unique combination of small town America and big-time crime.  Jenny is a veterinarian and her husband, Caleb, is Pottawatomie County’s undersheriff.  Together, and with the help of Jenny’s animal comrades, they encounter and solve crimes.
The book premiered to enthusiastic reviews at the March 2013 Oklahoma State Council meeting.  It is now available both in hard-copy and ebook format through Barnes & Noble, Amazon or local retail bookstores.
The sequel to Missing Emma, Human Gold, will be released this fall.

Teaser for Missing Emma – a Jenny Tallchief Novel
How does someone you love disappear without a trace?  Dr. Jenny Tallchief, a veterinarian in a small rural clinic suddenly faces desperation, frustration and despair when her sister, Emma, vanishes.
Even being married to the Undersheriff of the county, locating Emma seems impossible when evidence is non-existent.
Personal trauma has set the stage for Jenny to find clues to the missing Emma by staying in touch with the animals she encounters.
Murder, intrigue and action set in the woods of Southeastern Oklahoma keep the reader turning pages to the very end.
