Epsilon Sigma Alpha members in Virginia participate in community events

Epsilon Sigma Alpha members participate in the March of Dimes event Christopher Newport University of Newport News, Virginia in April. This event is held to support community programs that assist women in having healthy, full-term pregnancies, and fund research geared towards improvement of infant health.

Community members of Epsilon Sigma Alpha supported the initiative of The Virginia Department of Health and the Western Tidewater Medical Reserve Corporation by assisting in the preparation of tick kits in May. This event was held at the Hampton University School of Pharmacy. Members prepared 419 tick kits.

Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia Center for Aging hosted a medication risk screening event. Members of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, who also happen to be 4th year pharmacy students, joined them at the Clarence V. Cuffee Community Center in Chesapeake Virginia to help provide drug information and medication counseling services.
