Care Connection

ESA’s Care Connection is a link that provides service to members, their families, and others whom they recommend for assistance. The program was created solely to facilitate the exchange of person-to-person charitable services. Members share their personal talents and caring spirit to provide support to other ESA members. Simply put, Care Connection provides an opportunity for members to help others, as well as to receive assistance during their own times of need. 

Care Connection utilizes the knowledge, expertise, and volunteer skills of ESA members to share support and service to others during times of change, transition, or personal crisis.

Through Care Connection, ESA members have channeled both financial and personal support to individuals, and sometimes to the communities of our membership, when emergencies arise.

For instance, following Hurricane Katrina, Care Connection harnessed the efforts of ESA members everywhere to provide material goods, and, in some cases, financial aid and personal assistance to those members whose lives were disrupted by the storm.

Most often, Care Connection meets the personal needs of members who want or need information regarding support for relatives or family members living at a distance, exchange of business opportunities or information, or to send expressions of support or good wishes to members who are celebrating joyful times or experiencing personal crises (via cards, letters, e-mails, tweets, calling trees, etc.)

Care Connection also helps members connect during times of transition when they are seeking support of their ESA family as they move, or as their personal circumstances change. This type of relocation information is often invaluable to members who are contemplating a move, change in career, or other life-altering transition.
