Alpha Nu's Trike-a-thon a Great Success

The Alpha Nu Chapter of Merritt Island, FL held their yearly Trike-a-Thon on March 11 at a local church pre-school. Three members of the chapter, including chapter St. Jude coordinator Kathy Wildmann, headed the event, which raised just over $2,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This event, which the chapter has been putting on for five years, has consistently brought in a steady amount of money for the hospital.

Trike-a-Thon is a fun, week-long riding toy safety curriculum and fundraising program for daycare centers or pre-schools that teaches children riding-toy safety lessons through a series of interactive stories. At the end of the Trike-a-Thon week, students bring their trikes or riding toys to school and practice the safety lessons they have learned.

This year, Alpha Nu added a second Trike-a-Thon in their area which raised $2,100 for St. Jude. We are so proud of the Alpha Nu chapter and all they do for the children of their community and the children of St. Jude.
