EΣA for St. Jude

While Epsilon Sigma Alpha members support many national and local worthy causes, they are world-class supporters of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Since 1962, St. Jude in Memphis, TN, has opened its doors to children with catastrophic illness. St. Jude is a place where many doctors send some of their sickest patients and toughest cases. A place where cutting-edge research and revolutionary discoveries happen every day, and a place where all patients accepted for treatment at St. Jude are treated without regard to the family's ability to pay. EΣA members are some of St. Jude's greatest boosters.

• St. Jude Founder Danny Thomas asked EΣA for support in 1972. EΣA became one of St. Jude's first supporters and is the largest third-party donor to the hospital. EΣA was recognized as St. Jude's organization of the year in 2007. EΣA members have donated hundreds of thousands of volunteer hours to St. Jude support and raised more than $130 million in cash and pledges for the hospital. Special thanks to EΣA memorials are on display at the hospital.
• EΣA members supply experienced loyal volunteers to many large St. Jude fundraising events including staffing St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, manning the phones at Country Cares for St. Jude Kids radiothons, chairing Give thanks. Walk. events in shopping malls across the country, and introducing children to the opportunity to support the hospital through elementary school St. Jude Math-a-Thons.

EΣA and St. Jude on campus

• Collegiate EΣA members support St. Jude at large regional events and in more personal ways. Collegiate EΣA members care for St. Jude kids by hosting unique St. Jude events on their campuses and in their communities. Whether collecting donated supplies for the patients, promoting a St. Jude charity concert, or hosting a campus basketball tournament for benefit the children at St. Jude, Collegiate EΣA members proudly uphold EΣA's time-honored tradition to help St. Jude cure childhood cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.
• Join EΣA and help St. Jude. Whether you join an existing EΣA chapter or bring a new chapter to your campus, you can join EΣA's efforts to support St. Jude by sharing your ideas and talents, and connecting to the resources and support available to you through EΣA membership.
