APRIL: ESA Seedling Exchange
Omega Mu chapter of Albany, Oregon created this fabulous month-long interactive event to celebrate spring. The idea is to send a variety of seed packets to members and guests, asking them to start their seedlings at home and inviting them to bring their seedlings to a seedling exchange party. Enjoy food, fun, and talk about ESA with guests at the exchange party, then everyone swaps their plants so each member and guest goes home with a nice variety to start their garden. Omega Mu doubled their chapter membership through this event and shared their invitations and party planner as a blueprint for your successful party.

MAY: Kentucky Derby Party
Wendy Lea Casey of Gamma Tau chapter of Henderson, Kentucky shared this salute to an all-American favorite May tradition. Have outrageous fun with the hat contest, make a $2.00 contribution and "bet" on your favorite horse as part of a 50/50 raffle for your favorite good cause, and even play horseshoes. Awesome recipes for authentic mint juleps and Kentucky Derby chocolate pecan pie, invitation samples and everything else you need for a fabulous day with your guests is included.
