A semester in the life of the ESA Omega Psi Chapter at Virginia Tech University
Our chapter strives to balance service, learning, and fun. Every year, our members participate in a variety of service events including Relay for Life and local community clean-up events. We’ve also helped local schools collect food donations to help make Thanksgiving baskets for families in need. To foster continuing education among our members, we hold educational events on a wide variety of topics. Socials enable us to bond with one another and create strong friendships. Most importantly, we have fun while working together for good causes.
We support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as our main cause, but we also look for ways in which we can support our local community. Every new member class chooses a different organization to support through their ESA new member training process, and these have included organizations as diverse as Angel on a Leash, Easter Seals, Peace House Africa, and Heifer International Foundation.
