Hope for Heroes

What is it?
Hope for Heroes is specifically directed at providing support for military personnel and their families.

ESA hosts an annual Hope for Heroes national event held each year in November, on or around Veteran’s Day. This week of celebration includes:
  • Recognizing veterans
  • Send greetings to local military personnel serving abroad
  • Organizing activities to supply locally known troops with goods and materials to share with service personnel who are far from home.
Bring a Hope for Heroes event to your school!

Did you know we can connect you to recently deployed college graduates? Host a Hope for Heroes event at your school and we can help you send them something really cool!

Here are some ideas you can try:

1) Request a booth or table to place in your main plaza, quad, student union or high traffic area.
  • Let students sign giant cards to send to service members
  • Set up a box where students can donate items most requested by our military members
  • Create care packages with those donated items
  • Make meals with the donated items to bring to service members' families in the area
2) Host events through social media!
  • Promote your upcoming events on Facebook and Twitter
  • Create a Facebook page where students can write messages that you to pass along to service members
  • Connect to even more people and Tweet about your event
