Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA) Collegiate Service Organization

Benefiting members since 1929, Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA) has grown from a service sorority to an international service club with nearly 1,000 community and co-ed collegiate chapters. This extensive network makes far-reaching service projects possible, as well as professional contacts and lifelong friendships.

As part of a larger service organization, EΣA collegiate chapters are provided all the necessary education, resources, and support to achieve their goals and make a difference volunteering in the community.

Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA) collegiate members graduate with competitive personal and professional skills beyond those taught in the classroom including project management, public relations, interpersonal communication, public speaking, and overall leadership.

Upon graduation, you will move on from many of your favorite college activities. But EΣA membership can last a lifetime – you can stay connected as a member of one of EΣA's alumni groups or as a community chapter or individual member. Choosing to become a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha (ESA) will both enhance your college experience and continue to serve you in life, just as you continue to serve in the community.

ESA Beyond Graduation…My Story

by Gina A., North Carolina

"I joined Phil Alpha chapter of Muncie, IN and Ball State University in 2006 as an undergrad to become more involved in the community, and I ended up meeting the members who would very quickly become my best friends. One of my favorite aspects of the chapter was the diversity of the membership. We all came from different walks of life, yet built such strong relationships around the goals of service.

After graduation in 2009, I moved to North Carolina for graduate school. I didn't anticipate joining a community EΣA chapter for a while. My collegiate chapter kept me very busy during undergrad, and I assumed I'd want a break before getting involved again. I couldn't have been more wrong. In North Carolina, I made friends quickly through both work and school, but I still felt like something was missing. As I evaluated my social life and community involvement, I realized I needed more EΣA in my life. I adore my new EΣA family, the Omicron Phi community chapter in Durham. While it's different than my collegiate chapter, the EΣA spirit is very much alive and every member lives with an open heart, supportive attitude, and commitment to making the world a better place. I know I can rely on any of my EΣA chapter family members whether new or old for anything I may ever need."
