EΣA | BE>CAUSE... Up Your Game for St. Jude: An EΣA National Event
Epsilon Sigma Alpha (EΣA) members are among St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital’s most dedicated and hard-working volunteers and
fundraisers. Since EΣA adopted St. Jude as its international
philanthropic project in 1972, EΣA has raised over $135 million in
cash and pledges for the hospital. In addition to all our existing
favorite St. Jude activities, EΣA is asking its Collegiate EΣA
members to participate in Up Your Game for St. Jude: An EΣA
National Event this semester. St. Jude treats thousands
of children each year and is supported primarily through public contributions
raised by organizations such as ESA. This event provides an opportunity,
in small and large ways, both campus-wide and community-based, to raise
money for St. Jude.
Epsilon Sigma Alpha is challenging its 12,000 EΣA members to host any type
of game-related event to raise money for St. Jude. Whether it’s something
as simple as Bunco or Bingo competitions among campus dorms or as grand as a
community-wide Wii bowling tournament, there are numerous ways EΣA members
can play their part. Up Your Game provides Collegiate EΣA members with
a chance to get involved, raise money to fight children’s cancer, join
in friendly competition and have an outrageously good time. Include lots of other
campus groups and community members in your Up Your Game activities for an even
bigger impact. St. Jude patients are treated regardless of their ability to pay
due to fundraising events such as these – so put your game face on and
see how much money you can raise for a good cause!
