The ESA Foundation awards program has many and various ways to promote and recognize both the members and the non-members of the ESA Foundation. It is the purpose of the Foundation to promote the activities of those who serve human need. The awards promote this objective.
The ESA Foundation gratefully acknowledges, with special recognition, all foundation members (individuals, chapter, districts, councils, auxiliaries) who achieve a special plateau of financial support. All gifts/donations to the ESA Foundation (including membership fees and annual dues) are counted toward the Plateau of Achievement from the time of initial membership on through the years (automatic Lifetime Accumulation).
The ESA Foundation members have continued to demonstrate their overwhelming generosity, and, as a result, the Board of Directors proposed and accepted new levels for the Plateau of Achievement awards in 2008. The monetary levels in this new listing were extended to $10,000,000 plus. Certificates utilizing this listing were first issued at the 2009 International Council Convention
A certificate shall be awarded to individuals, chapters, or councils obtaining the Plateaus of Achievement. Continuing and expanding programs of the ESA Foundation are assured through the efforts of dedicated members.
